About the Author
Lynn Spencer is a Transportation Industry Analyst for the Federal Aviation Administration and a former airline pilot. She graduated from Duke University and holds a Commercial Pilot and Certified Flight Instructor Certificate with Instrument and Multi-Engine Ratings. She completed her high altitude training at the Johnson Space Center and served as both a pilot and instructor at Continental Express Airlines. She is a former member of the National Security Committee of the Air Line Pilots Association, where she served on the Threatened Airspace Management Task Force. In addition to serving as an aviation expert and commentator for CNN and CBS, she currently leads operational standards development efforts that will contribute to the safe integration of unmanned aircraft into the national airspace system. She is considered the foremost expert on the aviation events of September 11. Lynn is represented by Jane Dystel of the New York Literary Agency Dystel & Goderich.
